Desinfektion
D.: Der expando ist aus dem Kunststoff Makrolon (Bayer) hergestellt und daher besonders bruchunempfindlich.
Der expando darf nicht über 110°C erwärmt werden.
Eine umfassende Aussage bezüglich der Verträglichkeit von Makrolon mit den unzähligen am Markt vorhandenen Desinfektionsmittel können wir nicht machen. Aufgrund eigener Versuche und Anwendererfahrungen haben wir jedoch im Folgenden einige Vorschläge zur Desinfektion der expando.
Die Tauchbaddesinfektion ist mit dem Produkt "Gigasept FF neu" der Firma Schülke & Mayr möglich. Dieses Bad hat eine recht lange Standzeit und ist dadurch auch kostengünstig.
Eine gesicherte Methode ist die Reinigung und Desinfektion der expando im Miele Thermo-Desinfektor unter Verwendung von „neodisher MediClean“, „neodisher Z Dental“ und „neodischer MediKlar dental“ (alles drei Produkte der Firma Dr. Weigert, Hamburg).
Für die Desinfektion mit anderen Produkten ist unbedingt die chemische Beständigkeit des Kunststoffes Makrolon zu beachten.

E.: ATTENTION: The disinfection instructions have to be observed as otherwise, the breaking resistance of the expando can be affected and injuries may result.
Before the first use, the expando has to be cleaned superficially with water and a plastic cleaning agent and disinfected according to the instructions.
The expando is not sterile;
Restriction regarding reprocessing: Disinfection about 40-50 times, check for craquelé cracks, in case of cracks the breaking resistance is affected
Disinfection: Carry out disinfection according to the special instructions and thoroughly rinse with running water.
Do not heat it to 100°C or higher.
Inspection before use: Visual check for craquelé cracks or other damages, if necessary abstain from use
Serious incidents caused by the use of the expando shall be reported to the manufacturer.
Makrolon 2858 is not resistant against:
Methylene chloride, chloroform, tetrahydrofuran, benzene, chlorobenzene, acetone
F.: ATTENTION: Respecter scrupuleusement les consignes relatives à la désinfection, cas dans le cas contraire la résistance à la rupture de l’expando peut être réduite et il y a danger de blessures.
Avant la première utilisation, il faut nettoyer l’expando superficiellement avec de l’eau et d’un nettoyant pour matières plastiques et puis désinfecter l’objet selon les consignes relatives à la désinfection.
L’expando n’est pas stérile;
Limitation de retraitement: Désinfection environ 40-50x, contrôle de l’absence de craquelures, la présence des craquelures réduit la résistance à la rupture de l’expando.
Désinfection: Désinfecter seulement selon les consignes particulières, puis rincer soigneusement sous l’eau courante.
Ne pas chauffer à plus de 110°C
Inspection avant utilisation: Inspection visuelle pour déceler les craquelures ou autres dommage, le cas échéant renoncer à l’utilisation;
Informer le fabricant de tous les incidents graves avec l’expando!
Makrolon 2858 est non résistant à:
Chlorure de méthylène, chloroforme, tétrahydrofuranne, benzène, chlorobenzène, acétone.
